This is more than a story about a king who lived happily ever after.  This is the story about the king.  As early as the parasha, "Lech, Lecha,"  Right after Yahovah told Avram about the land which was eternally his and his descendents, who by the way, would be as numerous as the dust of the earth, we begin to hear about kings.

We read about a dozen plus kings over earthly kingdoms and then we read about Malkee-Tsehdehk, My-Righteous - King".
